Could Be

Well. I have news. Both my buyer and I have executed the Agreement of Sale for Avocado Cottage!! As the Daughter would say, “Woo hoo!” I am still pinching myself and as I lay in bed at night my brain whirls with the fifty highly-unlikely scenarios that might, just might, happen to stop us completing. Crazy, isn’t it? I think I’ve become so disillusioned with the whole, slow process that I am finding it hard to believe we are at this stage. And I certainly don’t want to put the mockers on myself.

And that’s not all.

In the last couple of weeks there’s been a flurry of interest in Avocado Cottage. And offers. Where were these people ten months ago? It’s been a bit like waiting for the Number Nine bus. You wait for ages and there’s no bus, then suddenly three come along at once. 🚌🚌🚌

But, I am just so grateful there’s light at the end of the tunnel. All that remains for the loans officer to do is finalise the mortgage. I know she hasn’t been the fastest woman in the world so far, but even she can’t string it out for much longer.

So, it could be.  But – for the moment – whisper it; Avocado Cottage is sold.

That’s great for you, a shame for us as I was due to meet Frank on Monday to view and make an offer! I have already booked my flight so we are coming out for two days now anyway so will look around at others! good luck with it all.
