Mindgames

I was thinking about my lovely friend M this morning, who is half way up Machu Picchu at the moment, raising money for St Oswald’s Hospice. What a wonderful, loving person she is; she does so much for charities and other people. As my mind wandered along these lines I realised that it’s four weeks tomorrow until she comes with me to the Employment Tribunal, brought about by my being unfairly dismissed from my job over my fabulous holiday-read erotic novel Singles’ Holiday.
However, the post brought a letter from the Tribunal saying that the Respondent has asked for a postponement. I’m not surprised; they’re capable of anything and are playing mind games in the hope I’ll drop the claim.

How little they know me! This behaviour just makes me even more determined to stand up for myself and see justice done for everyone that’s ever found themselves in my situation.

  1. Wish you luck with it! I can’t believe what happened to you. Your books are brilliant and you were their best tour leader by a mile. Chin up! Liz
