Three Great Announcements!

It’s a very exciting time!!

Announcement Number One…..drumroll…….:

Stanley Grimshaw is at the Bridewell.

This week my play Stanley Grimshaw Has Left The Building is being staged by Melabeau Productions in the Lunchbox slot at the Bridewell Theatre, London EC4.  How good is that?  We are all buzzing about it and if you’re in London at lunchtime please bring your sandwiches or sushi and come and have a laugh at our one-act black comedy. Tickets available on the door at the moment or ring the theatre box office – 020 7353 3331 or online – www.sbf.org.uk

Announcement Number Two…..another drumroll….. The cover reveal for my latest book Singles, Set and Match is happening on 21st May!  And it is published on 1st July – just in time for your holidays!!  It’s the fifth and final book in the Singles’ Series.  So you’ve got time to read the first four if you haven’t already before No 5 comes out.  And here’s the link so that you can do that:  https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=Elaine+Spires&rh=n%3A341689031&ref=nb_sb_noss

My thanks to the wonderful Rachel Gilbey at Rachel’s Random Reads for all her efforts and support.  So – keep an eye out on 21st May!  Yay!

And yet another drumroll for Announcement Number Three – Only the Lonely, the short film I co-wrote with Veronique Christie won the Groucho Club Award for Best Short Film!!

L-R Director Clare Holman and lead actors Souad Faress and Anna Calder Marshall on location filming Only the Lonely

We are all over the moon as you can probably imagine. So – it’s all happening.  Loads more to say but will end this post.  And many apologies for the weeks of silence; a lot has gone on. Xx
