Things are Moving…

We had such a positive Melabeau production meeting yesterday.  With three projects in the pipeline – Single Holidays stageplay tour, TV pilot episode and panto – things are suddenly getting exciting and it feels like we’re really moving forward!  So much to do, but we’re getting great people interested in coming on board and that is such a boost.  Check out our website and FB page later this week for all our updates.

Also had another great 1-2-1 with the inspiring Nicola May on Saturday.  Anyone wanting guidance re a writing or publishing career I can’t recommend her highly enough.  Nicola is an extremely successful indie author and very generous with her knowledge and expertise.

The first ever Stages Studios show – SHOWBUZZ -is drawing near and looking fantastic.  Some of my drama students are performing a short play which they developed from a class impro and the wonderful Lydia Lucy, who has very close links with Stages, is going to perform!  It’s at the Civic Theatre Chelmsford 8th and 9th March.  Book your tickets through www.theatresonline.com

And today I am super, super busy packing up everything from the flat as I prepare to move out.  I won’t be sorry to go.  The wet patches on the walls are now turning mouldy.  Not a very healthy environment to be living in And it must really be damaging the flat yet the owners are dragging their heels.  They just seem to think they can claim on the buildings insurance, which they can, but the cause needs to be found.  Still, in a day or two it will no longer be my problem!

And by next week the lovely Lisa at Vanilla Gecko will have almost completed the artwork for the cover of Singles and Spice.  Exciting!  It’s coming out in kindle on 14th March.  As I say, things are moving.
